Accept Venmo in WooCommerce with a branded pay page and manual confirmation. No per-transaction processor fees.

== Description ==

D613 Pay — Venmo adds Venmo as a WooCommerce checkout method. When a customer picks Venmo at checkout, they're sent to a clean, branded pay page that shows exactly where to send the money (your Venmo username, plus an optional QR code) and the order number to put in the note. The order is held as **Pending Confirmation** — stock is reserved — until you verify the payment and mark it Processing.

= What you get =

* Venmo as a WooCommerce payment method, with a branded pay page (username, optional QR code, order memo)
* A "Pending Confirmation" order status that holds stock until you confirm
* A confirmation dashboard: see pending Venmo orders, tick the ones you've been paid for, and mark them Processing (the customer is emailed automatically)

= Optional upgrade: Auto-Verify =

Confirming each payment by hand gets old fast. **D613 Pay Auto-Verify** (a separate paid add-on, [D613 Pay Connect](https://d613pay.d613labs.com)) reads the payment-alert emails Venmo sends you and confirms each matching order automatically, 24/7. This gateway is fully functional on its own and never expires without it.

= Requirements =

* WooCommerce 7.0 or newer
* Pretty permalinks (WooCommerce needs these anyway)

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
2. Upload the plugin through **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**, or install it from the WordPress.org directory, then activate it.
3. Configure your Venmo username and optional QR code under **WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Venmo (Manual)**.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this charge the customer's card? =

No. Venmo is a peer-to-peer transfer. The customer sends the money from their own Venmo app, and you confirm receipt. There is no card processing and no per-transaction processor fee from this plugin.

= How do I know a customer actually paid? =

You check your Venmo notification and then tick the order on the confirmation screen to mark it Processing. If you'd rather that happen automatically, the paid Auto-Verify add-on reads your Venmo alert emails and confirms matching orders for you.

= Does the plugin send my data anywhere? =

No. This plugin works entirely on your own site and makes no outbound requests. It only links out to our website if you choose to look at the paid Auto-Verify add-on.
